Junior players (25 years of age or younger) will sit down at their
computers on April 21 and 22 to compete in the 2001 OKbridge World-wide
Internet Championship. The tournament is being organized by the Fifth
Chair Foundation and OKbridge.
Registrations are now being accepted for this event which is sanctioned by the ACBL. Masterpoints will be awarded. There is no registration fee.
Fifth Chair will provide hosts for each team to help them become familiar with the OKbridge program. http://www.fifthchair.org/
At least two members of each team must be students at the same school.
All participants will be given a temporary free membership in OKbridge to enable them to learn how to handle the program efficiently.
On April 21 the pairs forming the teams will compete in a 30-board IMP Pair contest. The four top teams will qualify to play in Sunday's semifinals.
